Roma
2017
From a picture of a landscape you would expect first of all a recording of the places, of well defined and well recognisable scenaries, that would give you a sweet panoramic show.
Attempting a research that tries to go beyond the borders of a postcard means trying to detect symbols and meanings of the urban scenery.
I started to hang out in Rome getting to the station always at the same time, with the same light that every time was colouring the city in a way that seemed to me to be chaos and meditation together.
It is fascinating to me the fact that each sign and each object of the landscape becomes a trace: beautiful story of what the human being can do in order to discover, remember and reflect on the human values through the times.
